Rollercoaster Dinner

I had booked dinner at a Rollercoaster restaurant which seemed like a fun thing to do with the kids. We decided to take the train there as our hotel was adjacent to a station. We bought the tickets at the station and found that there is no requirement to scan the tickets on boarding or disembarking. Even though it was 6pm on a Friday the train was pretty empty and there was one running every 4 minutes.

The restaurant was quite unique in that all the food arrived at your table on a rollercoaster. There were tracks all over the dining area with every part of your meal – drinks, meals and dessert all arrived on the rollercoaster – which was quite entertaining for the kids.

They also had cameras in the kitchen to show us that robots were preparing all the drinks and placing all the food on the tracks.

Moreover, every 30 minutes the lights would dim for a music and light show. The tracks would all light up and flash in sync to the music. The robots would also dance to the music.

The food was not the highlight of the night but the experience was well worth it.
