We went to Schweizerhaus for dinner which is a huge beer garden that had been in existence since 1776. The beer garden is divided into smaller sections named after the different districts in Vienna. We were seated in District 23. The beer garden can cater to 2,400 patrons and they have a speciality beer which is served on tap. The assembly line for pouring and serving beers is a sight to behold.

For dinner we got their house speciality which is a 1kg Pork Knuckle served with mustard and horseradish. It was enough for all of us to share and we even had leftovers. Though the temperature today touched 40 degrees and it was still in the mid 30s at dinner time, it was quite comfortable under the trees.
