#Experiencing Hollywood

Hawaii has really unique and rugged landscapes and has almost all the different climates patterns except Arctic and Desert. Moreover it is a really short distance from beaches to mountain tops and lakes and rolling hills. This makes it a great location for Hollywood and a number of famous movies and TV Shows like Jurrasic Park, Jumanji, King Kong, Lost etc have been shot here. We visited the Kualoa Ranch which is a massive private ranch site today where a number of these movies have been shot.

We did the different types today. The first was a food tour where we got to sample local fruit and macadamias. Thomas preferred chasing all the chickens instead across the paddy fields.

The second tour was a cruise on a catamaran in the ocean. We had dressed the boys in board shorts so they stayed in the front of the boat as we rode some pretty big waves. Needless to say they got soaking wet, but loved every bit.

Finally we went on a movie your and visited the location for some of the famous movies. Ben and Matthew also reenacted a scene from Jumanji in the exact same location as the film.

We were back in the hotel by 4 and went to an Italian restaurant for our last dinner.
