Joining the Cruise

#Joining the Cruise

We had another slow start today and had breakfast at the hotel. It really is a hotel better suited for grown ups and the kids were very disappointed that there wasn’t any big buffet. We all ordered off the menu and sat by the pool which was relaxing till Thomas decided that he had had enough and wanted to run around.

We walked along a short stretch of the famous Waikiki beach and then found a cafe for lunch. The kids are constantly amazed by the size of the meals on the US and especially the drinks and dessert.

Our car came to pick us up at 2 to take us to the pier to board the ship. We had a minor drama which checking in as Kelly, our travel agent, had printed the cruise documents for only one room. After a bit of a discussion with the security agent and me freaking out a little bit we were able to get through.

Check-in was easy and we have an assigned Butler for our rooms to help book and navigate all the activities. The rooms are quite good and have a nice large balcony. The kids are all in one room in 3 separate beds while, Bron, Thomas and I are in a connecting room.
