A Marvel-lous Experience

We went to see an exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art that showcased the Marvel super hero’s. The exhibition included props from all the movies as well as details on how they created the sets, special effects and scenes. There was also a section on the history of the characters including the original comic books that had Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man et al. We got to model for a Avengers movie poster including props at the end.

It was incredibly busy as it’s school holidays and they had big screens in every room with the various Marvel movies playing – this slowed everyone down as well.

After the museum we went to Nitrogenie for afternoon tea. The kids got to pick their flavour and they made ice cream in from of them with liquid nitrogen. The girl at the counter even explained to the kids how it all worked. It was quite an unique experience.
