We headed to a tiny theatre on the top floor of a building near the Old Town Square to watch a puppet version of Don Giovanni with the original score created by Mozart. I have been really surprised with the number of theatre and cultural performances in Prague. There are classical performances on all the time ranging from operas and performances in theatres to dinner cruises.
The show was interesting but a bit too long to keep the kids entertained. After the play we headed to a local Czech restaurant and ordered two very unique dishes. We had Charles IVth sword, which is basically a skewer with meat and vegetables. Except the skewer looks like a sword. We also had a side of pork which arrived on the table in a rotisserie for us to carve ourselves. The kids absolutely enjoyed the theatrics.
