A meal fit for a king

I had booked a restaurant called Aifur for Ben’s birthday dinner. It was advertised as a Viking themed restaurant and it did not disappoint. We sat on long shared tables and Ben got to sit on the throne at the head. They even had props that the boys used for photos.

The meals included reindeer heart and moose sausage which we all sampled. The boys also had some non-alcoholic mead with their meals.

Half way through the meal they had a musician come up and play an instrument that was a cross between an accordion and a harmonium and bag pipes. The boys were quote inquisitive and the performer brought them on stage to play with him.

Overall it was a very unique experience.
