Birthday Boy

The kids were up first thing to wish Ben a happy birthday. We had organised with the concierge to have a bunch of 12 balloons delivered to our room overnight so he could wake up with balloons over his head in the morning.

For the past few months Ben has been obsessed with making frozen yogurt. Given we were going to be in Oslo, he had decided to get some yogurt and leave it outside overnight to see if it would freeze. Unfortunately it didn’t, and it was just cold yogurt.

Matthew had bought Ben a special cup with Norwegian Rune lettering on it, which he presented to him. He also got his first mobile phone (but no SIM card) and a selfie stick. He thought the mobile phone was a gag gift and wasn’t convinced it was a real phone till be turned it on and got it working. He hasn’t put it down since.
