Australian Steak house
We had originally planned on going to the restaurant in the Art House for dinner. It was on the top floor and had a great view of the city and apparently had a very interesting architectural design. Unfortunately you needed to pay for every into the museum to get to the restaurant which would have add an extra $80 to the meal. It didn’t seem worth it as we wouldn’t have had time to go through the museum anyway.

So instead at the last minute based on recommendations from the hotel concierge we went to an Aussie Steak house. It seemed bizarre traveling half way around the world to eat an Aussie meal, and the irony was not lost on our waitress. The restaurant had a pretty cool kid play room which Emily loved while the boys went back to playing cards. After a dinner of ribs all around (and chicken for Bron) we walked back to the hotel.

One of the advantages of doing walking tours is that you get a very good feel of the lay of the land and you get to interact with everyday locals. It appears that the Danish are just a happy bunch of people going about their daily lives without fuss. We saw groups of teenagers at the library and also at the Old Town but no where were they behaving obnoxiously or drawing attention to themselves as teenagers always seem to want to do. Everybody has a smile when you make eye contact whether it’s at the mall, train station, hotel or just on the street.
