Dinner venture

I headed out at about 3.30 with the kids to try and get some dinner. Thomas had been really upset so bron fed him and put him to bed.

It was incredibly cold and wet will need to make sure we wear inners rverytime we venture out. A couple of blocks down we found a row of restaurants near the harbour. Pizza sounded good, especially as we don’t have any crockery or cutlery in the room.

While the pizza were being made we went to a few small stalls among the river. The boys tried Aebleskiver, which is apparently Danish desert, and was like small pancakes. It’s what we call Dutch pancakes at home. We also found an empty sleigh for a couple of photos.

On the way home, we stopped by a salad bar to add for dinner. We tried black chick peas for the first time, and the consensus was that it tasted stale. We ended up with a salad of greens, quinoa, corn, peas and normal chick peas. Didn’t taste too bad.
